Easy Click Commission (ECC) Reviewed
Easy Click Commission (ECC) is software that finds articles on the Internet that relate to a marketing niche that you want to target. The related articles are spun and unique articles are created based on the original article. You enter recommended categories in which the article can be posted. It also does some basic keyword research based on the niche you are marketing to. Then you can select what keywords you want to use as hyperlinks in the article directory resource box. The software will upload the unique article with your affiliate URL hyperlinked keyword to several article directories.
NOTE: This software uses a 'black hat' method to develop articles. Specifically it finds related existing articles on the web and 'spins' them to come up with a 'unique' article. Article directories want original as well as unique articles and since ECC does meet both of these qualifications it is for this reason ECC is a 'black hat' marketing.
The landing page:
This guy says all those other gurus are using faked ClickBank screen shots to sell you on their products, but not him! Yeah right! So he's going to take a 'risk' and 'show' you a 'real' click bank account! He's trying to make it seem that because he's video tapping his screen and not shot taking screen shots that this can't possibly be faked.
Wrong! I guarantee you this can be faked! All that needs to be done is to setup a web server on your own PC and create a ClickBank look-a-like web site on it. And since it's on your own PC you can even give it the URL clickbank.com, so that's what you will see in the address bar of the web browser! The web browser can't tell if your on the real CB site or a fake one! And you can make the page say anything that you want it to! It would still be a video and in the address bar it would still say clickbank.com! Look real, but it would be a real fake!
The guy in the video is extremely pushy. His tactic is to use reverse psychology to get you to stay on the page. Stuff like 'if your a loser then just go away and get off this page' or 'if your not 'really' and 'truly' interested then go away, go on, get out of here, just go away'. This guy definitely likes to play people!
And of course he says he's not like all the other Internet marketing Gurus that are only interested in taking your money and not giving you anything real. He says he has made a lot of income and now wants to 'give back'! Wish I had $ for every time I've heard/read that!
This guy seems to enjoy acting! If you want to see a show then go ahead and Google on ECC, but before you do that you may want to read what else I have to say about the ECC.
There's the usual - you got to buy this now because there are only "249" of these left and once they're gone there gone. And there's also a timer below the video that starts at around one hour and four minutes. Of course the timer always starts counting down from 1hr 4min! It did so yesterday, it did this morning and it's doing it again.
I wonder why, when I went to the landing page today it still said there were only 249 of these left, they must have forgotten to subtract my order! Oh and the timer must have gotten accidentally 'reset', wow that sure is a good thing for anyone that didn't get their purchase made yesterday!
Just for grins I left the page up so the timer could run down. It got down to "0 Hour, 0 Minutes, 2 Seconds, 985 Milliseconds" and STOPPED!
The Up selling:
This was an annoying and extremely painful purchase trying to get from the original item I was purchasing to actually getting the product. You have to go through about 10 pages one after another after another, clicking on psycho babble links like 'No thanks, I don't want to succeed now I'll just take my time, take me to the download page', then the link on next page click on somethign like 'No thanks, I don't want to turbo charge my income I just want a couple of bucks in the bank, just take me to the download page', etc., etc., etc.!
After you get through the purchase and get to the ECC website, there is an offer after logging in to get you to sign up to have a free money making web site professionally designed for you! And ECC is going to pay the bill. Don't believe it, they don't pay squat! ECC made $50 or so dollars on you and they are going to pay nearly $2K to have a professional web site created for you, come on now, they are not paying anything, more than likely they are receiving a commission on every signup! This is just an offer from another company to get you signed up and you do have to purchase a domain name and web hosting through them to get the free professionally developed web site. I'm guessing that you probably also can't download the complete web site to upload it to your own hosting service!
The Sales Hype:
This guy also shows you 'his' ClickBank accounts and says the fantastic results are all due to this one product that he 'found'. Of course he tells you that all the other 'Gurus' have been lying to you but he is going to tell you the real truth!
This would have you believe that within only days or even hours you can have income in to what ever affiliate network you want to use.
The Product:
The initial offering is the 'basic' version which as 'limitations' and of course if you don't want the limitations then you have to pay more for the advanced version. And of course you can also pay for coaching and to get into their inner circle. Geez! who of use hasn't heard that before!
This product has a website and of course EVERY TIME you log in there's a huge pop-up trying to get you to call them! They probably want to talk you into buying 'coaching' services!
Now, for the real scope on the product:
This is a downloadable software product.
On the web site they have 8 training modules on how to use the software. On every module page they try yet again to get you to signup for the 'free' professionally designed web site!
Step #1 - Niche Keywords:
Enter your niche then click the 'Keywords Suggestion" button. Every time you do this you will be prompted for a captcha... annoying.
It does it's 'research' and comes up with up to 50 keywords for the 'basic' version or 100 keywords for the 'advanced' version. It is suggested that you pick the lowest competing keywords with the highest search amounts.
Select the keywords you want to use.
Use the export button to save the keyword list to your PC.
Step #2 - Find Niche Related Articles:
The software will use the keywords you've chosen to find articles. Select the article that you want to 'spin' then click the create unique article button. The software will 'spin' the articles to create presumably new unique articles.
NOTE: These are not 'original articles' which is what most article directories require.
You must check the articles that are generated because currently the software inserts characters into the 'new' articles that you must remove (it states this in the training video).
Step #3 - Submit 'new' articles to 10 article directories, didn't say if it is 10 for the basic version or for all versions.
Supposedly these are high ranking article directories. You import the keywords you exported earlier, then use the software to create a hyperlink to one of your affiliate links. This will be used in the 'resource box' for the article when it is submitted. Lastly click the submit button to submit the articles.
NOTE: Most article directories do not allow affiliate links in the resource box.
OTHER:
The video also explains how to searche for the keywords that you have chosen then in it explains how, in the SERPS, you find the back links to web sites that ranked high for these keywords. And how to save the SERPs and Back links listings to your PC.
BUT! then the training stops. Saving the list of back links to your PC is of no value unless you know what to do with them, which the video doesn't explain! This is just down right stupid, IMO! The reason it doesn't explain this is that the ECC software does nothing with the list of back links. It's up to you to create the back links which are required to get the high page ranking.
Problems with using this software, as I see it:
1) The articles may be unique but they are not original. Articles directories want original articles.
2) Reputable articles directories do not allow posting articles anonymously. A user account must be used. Any article directory that allows anonymous posting will have tons of SPAM on it and the search engines WILL NOT index it, which means no links to articles on that A/D will ever show up in the SERPs! I saw no where were you enter your credentials for Articles Directories that you are a member of. So this would indicate that account usernames and passwords are hard coded into the software or the software retrieves this information from an ECC database. So you have no direct access to the articles if anything is wrogn with the affiliate offer.
3) Articles Directories do not permit the use of software to automatically upload articles. It is certainly possible for them to figure out if a 'bot' is being used to upload the software. This can get you IP banned!
4) Anyone that has done article marketing knows that back links to the articles are important for SERP ranking. To say that article back links are important is an extreme understatement! Article back links are essential to getting high SERP rankings.
The premise for this software to get money making results is that it will get high rankings in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). But an article by itself cannot get a high listings in the SERPs. It takes several things to get high SERP rankings. The very least of which is quality back links to the articles that the software creates.
Without the back links to the article(s) this software is useless.
So what did ECC have to say when I asked them about getting the back links:
"Once you collect the back links, you will then select some of the blogs, the ones with the higher PR, and post a comment on each, using one of your article links as the URL for the comment poster. Yes, it does take some time, but..."
This is far from the buy this software and start making money today claim that was portrayed!
Another thing about back links is that you do not want to create back links until the article has been approved because the site you posted to will most likely consider this a broken link and remove the link. There are plugins and add-ons for many types of web sites that check for and remove broken links without the site administrators intervention. Even if the site admin revues the links manually, they are very likely going to removed any broken links as this effects their 'Page Rank'.
5) Articles are rarely automatically approved. It usually takes several days to a coupe of weeks for articles to be approved. I have had articles, were it took 2 months before they were approved!
6) This software is capable of using proxy servers. The thing to know here is WHY you would use a proxy server! You use a proxy server to hide your true IP address so that it can't get banned! You only get banned when you are not playing by the rules!
Using this software without a proxy server can result in your IP address getting banned by the article directories! This will happen if the article directory thinks your articles are just 'spins' or that you are using software to submit articles.
Something the training vidoes don't tell you is that not all proxy servers will hide your true IP address. They also don't mention that stable proxy servers usually require a subscription fee! And on top of that even if you hide your IP address so that it can't get banned, that doesn't mean that the proxy servers IP address can't get banned, if this happnes then you have to switch proxy servers, so you need a good supply of proxy servers.
The ECC software does include a feature to find proxy servers but there was no mention, in the documentation, as to whether or not there will be a charge for the proxy servers
7) Just because you get a successful submission from the ECC software doesn't mean that the article was approved. The only way you can know if the article was approved to to visit the URL for the article if you remembered to export this information from the ECC software.
This entire blog is based on the ECC user documentation and the 8 short training videos, why only that and not any 'real' experience with the software? Because the software would not install on my Windows Vista Ultimate, nor would it install on my Linux PC under a program called 'wine' which allows running some windows programs on under Linux. It did install under windows XP Pro but di dnot work kept getting an error about "exception thrown and not caught", sounds like we're playing baseball with 2 year olds!
BOGUS/FALSE claims -
"Maybe you'd like to access a cash flood that is only 6 clicks away" - The software doesn't generate any back links using any method so saying that the 'cash flood' is only 6 clicks away is just an out right lie! without backlinks there is not going to be a flood of cash. Of course since the software either won't install or just doesn't run without getting an error I can't really prove this.
Despite how many times he states he is not another 'huckster', in my opinion he is just that and the reason being, is that it takes a lot more work than 6 clicks to get money making results from this software and this is not revealed any where in the sales promotion or the training videos!
It wasn't until I sent an email and asked why save the back links that any other comments were made about the backlinks. The software doesn't find high SERP ranked web pages for the keywords that you are using. The software doesn't get the back links that the web pages are using to get high SERP rankings for you. You either have to use a FireFox plug-in (SEOQuake) or purchase other software, which they have available to you at a discounted rate!
I'm not saying this software is a total scam, but I do think it could be drastically improved on if it allowed for the addition of the users article directory accounts. I have several article directory accounts and would really love it if this software would take care of the submission of my articles to each of my article directory accounts! That there would be a big help!
What I recommend is learning things like how to use Facebook to do proper marketing with pages and PPC ads. This can be done with Hyper Facebook Traffic.
